I bought an iPhone se2020 for myself and an iPhone 12 for my wife and I must say that we are both very disappointed. How is it possible that phones at such a price lack basic functions ??
(I note that we immediately updated both phones to the latest version of IOS).
- Absence of ringing profiles, just set to turn off the sound or switch to vibration according to the time schedule just can’t be set. Why??
- Very poor keyboard without the possibility of personalization, alternatives are limited and incomparably worse than the alternatives on Android.
- I WANT TO DETERMINE WHEN I TURN WIFI / BT / GPS ON AND OFF, it's unrealistic for the iPhone, it does what it wants and it can't be changed.
- Sound can't be controlled separately, is it such a problem to make three sound drivers for notifications, media and alarms ??? You can't imagine how this annoying me.
- Doesn't the phone have infrared at this price? With phones for a quarter of the price of the iPhone, you can control televisions, radios, air conditioners, fans, etc., without the need to buy additional overpriced junk just for compatibility.
- Absence of JACK. Pushing the jack into the socket is simply easier and faster than pairing headphones with bluetooth. That’s a fact.
- A small selection of apps in the Appstore, a few apps I've used until recently, aren't even there at all, or are of poor quality.
- In the task list you can terminate applications only one by one, not all at once, this is just a weird joke, right ???
- Few widgets and alternatives. There is no small associated widget for iPhone, time and date, week numbers, temperature and even phone information. When I set all the widgets for the mentioned information on the home desktop, the desktop is full and not everything can fit in there!
- Access settings via desktop shortcut. Whoever invented this would deserve a punch to his face. Is it such a problem to add a settings icon to the control center ???
- Sort icons on the desktop behind each other. WHY?????? Why can't I put shortcut icon to the lower right corner or wherever I want??
- The phone does not display the caller's number for contacts in the address book. That must be a joke, otherwise it would be very embarrassing that a phone for so much money can't do what basic phones do for a penny.
There are many shortcomings of the iPhone that Android does not have, this is a list of those that annoyed me the most and caused general dissatisfaction.
Of course, the iPhone also has some pros, but for the amount that the iPhone costs, one expects a perfect product and not a limited operating system full of shortcomings and compromises.
We return both phones and again we are satisfied with the Android phones for two years.
